What is tennis?
Tennis is a popular racquet sport played individually against a single opponent (singles) or between two teams of two players each (doubles). The game is played on a rectangular court divided by a net, with players using racquets to hit a ball over the net into the opponent’s court.
The objective is to score points by making the ball land in the opponent’s court in such a way that they cannot return it. Tennis demands a blend of physical agility, precision, and mental toughness.
